About VeryCoolParts

2001 to Present

VeryCoolParts started in 2001 when I had finished my first Factory Five Racing roadster. A guy came up to me at the first car show and wanted to buy my car. I couldn’t sell it but offered to build one for him and he agreed. That was nearly 30 cars ago. I was on Car Warriors building a FFR 33 Hot Rod in 48 continuous hours  which really was closer to 56 hours without sleep. If you want a car built for road or track, we can build your dream car to a vvery high standard. I started doing fuel injection when I got my CAV GT40. I wanted the 8 stacks in the back window and it had to be EFI instead of Webers. I looked at what was avaialble and found everything over priced and underfeatured. So I had a manifold made for the 302 Ford and mated it with an Electromotive TEC-2 engine mangament system. Then came the 351W version, 460, 4.6 DOHC, SBC and even a billet 427FE version. The product line grew with every passing month, supplying special parts for the fuel injection system, body protection spats, and aftermarket parts. In 2005 VCP invested in a Mustang dyno and offered tuning services and an expanded the list of ECU’s tuned to include Electromotive, Accel, FAST, MoTec, Professional Products, MegaSquirt, SCT, Diablo, HP Tuners, EFI Technologies, Redline, Haltech, AEM, Adaptronics and others.  VCP also tunes Holley, QuickFuel, and Weber IDA and IDF carbs.   Early 2013 I worked with FFR as a development partner in their new 818. I spent 4 days track testing the two prototypes and built one of the first 818’s.  VCP built another 818 with Grassrooots Motorsports which is featured in 10 print issues and 30 videos on GRM’s YouTube channel.
